Cloverdale interact is supporting International Projects, this year they decided to support a shelter for sexually abused girls in Guadalajara, Mexico with the donation of a $1,000.
Casa Kamami is located in Central Guadalajara and is a shelter for about 22 girls ages 6 to 18. The girls have been removed from their families by the State of Jalisco due to sexual abuse, usually from a family member.
Their needs are met and provided by the state as well as private donations. They continue their education and are learning that sexual abuse and violence is not a way of life, but rather the exception and should not be tolerated.
Thank you Interact for helping Casa Kamami!!
